Free scan for Shopify stores

Can ChatGPT see your products?

Shoppers ask AI assistants what to buy. Run the free scan and see whether your store is in the answer.

Your report opens immediately. Nothing is gated behind the email. It is only for your early-access invite, one message, when the app launches.

Read-only. No install, no Shopify login, works on any public store.

A StoreVisible report: overall score 76 marked Partly verified, product readability 72 out of 100, and seven checks all passing: GPTBot, OAI-SearchBot, ClaudeBot, PerplexityBot, Google-Extended, agents.md and llms.txt, followed by a list of what can only be checked from inside the Shopify admin.

A real scan, domain anonymised. Yours runs live when you submit.

393%

Year-over-year growth in AI-referred traffic to US retail sites. Over the 2025 holiday season it grew 693%. The channel is small next to Google, and it is the fastest-growing one retail has.

What the scan actually checks

The report is specific on both sides: what it verified from outside, and what it honestly cannot see without the app.

Checked from outside, today

Read from your public storefront, the same way AI crawlers read it

Five AI crawlers GPTBot, OAI-SearchBot, ClaudeBot, PerplexityBot and Google-Extended: allowed or blocked by your robots.txt, read with the same group-matching rules the crawlers use.
Discovery files agents.md and llms.txt: whether assistants can find a map of your catalogue at all.
Product readability A sample of your public catalogue, scored per product: structured data, price and availability markup, description depth.

Free, every scan. This is the report you get the moment you submit.

Only the app can check

These fields exist only inside your Shopify admin

SEO title and meta description Not rendered on your public pages, so no outside scan can read them. The report says so instead of guessing.
Image alt text, catalogue-wide Alt text is what a language model sees instead of your photography. The app reads it for every product, not a sample.
One-click fixes The app writes robots.txt rules and structured data for you, with your approval on every change.

This is what early access unlocks when the app clears review.

Scores alone don't fix anything

Every product that scores low comes with the reason, in plain language, and what to change. No "optimize your content" hand-waving.

This is the actual advice text the scanner attaches to a thin product description, exactly as it appears in the report.

From a live report
"AI engines summarize descriptions. Cover what it is, who it's for, and why it's better in 200+ characters."

Sixty seconds, start to finish, on a real store.

The walkthrough lands here shortly. The scanner above is live if you'd rather just run it.

What early access gets you

  • A full audit of every product, free, at launch. The web scan samples your storefront. The app reads your whole catalogue through the Shopify API and scores each product individually.
  • Fixes applied for you. Robots.txt rules and structured data written by the app, with your approval on every change.
  • A say in what gets built next. The list is small enough that we read every reply.
  • One email, not a sequence. We write when the app is live. That's the whole plan.
Where things stand: StoreVisible is submitted to the Shopify App Store and waiting on review. We can't take installs or payment until Shopify approves it, which is exactly why this is an invite list and not a checkout. The scan works today, free, regardless.

Questions people actually ask

Do I have to install anything to get the scan?

No. The scan reads your public storefront the same way an AI crawler would. No app, no Shopify login, no access to your admin.

Does it change anything on my store?

The web scan is strictly read-only. The Shopify app can write fixes, but only changes you approve, one at a time, never silently.

Is this just SEO with a new name?

They overlap, but the job is different. SEO optimises for a ranked list of links. An assistant reads a handful of pages and writes one answer, so crawler access, machine-readable facts and description depth matter far more than keyword placement does.

What do you do with my email?

Store it, and write to you once when the app is live. We don't sell it, there's no drip sequence, and unsubscribing is a reply.

When does the app launch?

It's in Shopify's review queue now. We'd rather not invent a date we don't control. You'll hear from us the day it clears.

Find out where you stand

One minute, no cost, and you'll know something about your store that your competitors almost certainly don't know about theirs.
